Provides assistive technology, home modifications, and vehicle modifications to help individuals with significant disabilities live independently. Assistive Technology More information:
- Installs home modifications such as ramps, grab bars, stair lifts, widened doorways, and accessible bathroom features
- Coordinates vehicle modifications including hand controls, wheelchair lifts, spinner knobs, and pedal extenders
- Offers aids for daily living, environmental control units, augmentative and alternative communication devices, and hearing devices not covered by insurance
- Services are available no more than twice within a five-year period
