    NATIONAL FAMILY CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM: Offers assistance to caregivers, provides information, referrals to community programs, and limited financial assistance to purchase supplies and respite care. Provides a referral service to link self-employed home care workers with families who need relief from the constant demands of providing care. Workers may provide personal care, supervision, companionship and housework on an hourly, daily, overnight, or weekly basis.

    Payment Description: Workers charge according to services required.

    Intake and Eligibility: Individuals 18 and older with primary responsibility for caring for any person over 60 years of age or age 55 and older and caring for a grandchild under age 18 and living in Anne Arundel County. Persons of any age can call to apply as a caregiver, but only those over 18 may receive a grant.
