  • Baltimore City Youth Snow Shoveling Program

    SNOW REMOVAL 2019/2020: Program to benefit senior citizens and the disabled with removing snow from their public right-of-ways in Baltimore City communities. The program links student workers with eligible citizens who need assistance in clearing snow from their public sidewalks when schools are either canceled or closed. Students will receive a stipend for their work or Service Learning Hours.

    Payment Description: None. Youth are paid a stipend and residents can tip the workers.

    Intake and Eligibility: Baltimore City residents who are either over the age of 65 or who are physically unable to shovel their snow due to a disability or medical issue can apply for the service. Baltimore City residents between the ages of 14 and 21 can apply for employment.
