    Agency: Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership of Frederick County

    COVID-19 Update: SHIP can arrange temporary free housing (up to ten days) for Frederick County individuals and families that are without housing as a direct result of COVID-19. This would include loss of job, income, housing, and transportation. Those in need MUST be referred to by a participating service provider such as the Religious Coalition, Frederick Community Action Agency, and St. Vincent de Paul.

    NOTE: For housing assistance or hotel vouchers, please make contact with the Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs for screening. 
    SHIP: Provides urgent resources and services for homeless school-age children and their families in Frederick County. Supports include new clothing, referrals to community resources, and funding for youth enrichment activities. Referrals should come from Frederick County Public School staff and from community service agencies.
