  • Project Homeless Connect, Harford County

    RESOURCE FAIR 2020: Provides free services for persons experiencing homelessness and their families. Scheduled for Thurs, Jan 23, 9:30AM-2:30PM, located at the APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College, 401 Thomas Run Road, Bel Air, MD 21015.

    Doors will open at 7AM for dental care and doors open at 9:30AM for all other services. 

    Services include, but are not limited to:
    o Obtaining an ID, birth certificate, and social security card
    o Resume and job assistance, legal help, general government benefits assistance
    o Medical, vision, and dental care.
       -Vision includes eye exams and glasses. The glasses will be available about three weeks after the event, they can be delivered, or they can be picked up.
       -Dental services include cleanings, fillings, and extractions. No dentures. Dental clinic starts at 7AM, it is recommended guests arrive as early as 6:30AM.
    o Legal services
    o Mental health and substance abuse assistance
    o Housing assistance
    o Emergency food stamps
    o Providing FREE winter accessories, groceries, and baby products while supplies last  

    Items participants should bring if possible:
    o Birth certificate
    o Photo ID
    o Social security card
    o Bill with current address and name
    o Documentation of any assistance currently received
    o Resume  

    ***Transportation will not be provided to the event this year, but individuals can receive a bus voucher to travel home using the Harford transportation system.
