  • Family Stability Program, Southeast Baltimore

    PREVENTION: Works with families at risk of losing permanent housing with at least one school aged child enrolled in Highlandtown Elementary/Middle #237, Highlandtown Elementary/Middle #215, John Ruhrah Elementary/Middle, or Tench Tilghman Elementary/Middle. The program cannot assist if a household does not include a child attending one of those schools. Provides case management and some financial assistance to help families stay housed.

    Intake and Eligibility: Families who are at risk of homelessness or utility turnoff at least one school aged child enrolled in Highlandtown Elementary/Middle #237, Highlandtown Elementary/Middle #215, John Ruhrah Elementary/Middle, or Tench Tilghman Elementary/Middle. Families must have sufficient income to be able to cover their rent and utilities after receiving a one-time financial assistance. Families must be willing to participate in the year-long case management piece in order to receive financial assistance.
