FOOD BANK: Provides a warehouse for donated food. Distributes food to member agencies, including soup kitchens, pantries and residential programs. Also accepts donations of perishable and non-perishable food and cash. Sometimes can provide pet food to pantries depending on availability. Offers the Pantry on the Go program to organizations who want to host an event.
The statewide surplus food commodities program supplies pantries with free, surplus food from the United States Department of Agriculture. Eligibility is based on if a household is currently certified for any of the following programs: Food Stamps, TCA, TDAP, Medical Assistance or MEAP.
