COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Provides post-secondary education to the general public who have a high school diploma or GED and are looking to further develop their education level. Also offers adult basic education and GED preparation courses.
-Adult Basic Education (ABE): Offers classes in basic math, reading, and English skills. There are no tuition or book fees for the class. Must be assessed before taking course. Morning and evening classes are also available. Limited transportation is available for students taking morning classes at Elkton Station. Must be 18 and older. -General Educational Development (GED): Classes prepare students to take the GED exam to earn a high school diploma. Applicants must take The Official GED Practice Test that is given on the 1st Friday of each month.
-English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): Offers literacy classes for foreign-born persons age 16 and older.
-College Prep: Provides a refresher program for clients who already have a high school diploma and want to go to college.
-Senior (60+) Program: Provides a wide range of courses for seniors 60 years of age and older. Costs varies pending on residency. Call 410-287-1000 for more information and a list of credit courses.

-Project Literacy: Adults, who have limited reading ability can be matched with a trained volunteer tutor who will provide confidential one on one tutoring in reading and writing. For more information, contact Carolyn Fletcher at 443-907-1399.
