    INFORMATION: Intercedes on behalf of victims and witnesses, and provides access to information regarding criminal cases. Offers information about the criminal process, and procedures that will take place. Particular attention is given to victims with emergency situations and special needs.

    VICTIM'S EMERGENCY FUND: Provides financial assistance to eligible victims for minor property damage (broken windows, doors, locks, and broken eye glasses); crime scene clean up for non-murder cases; emergency medication, and personal identification replacement. Does NOT reimburse for repairs or damages (for items that have not been listed). Funds are never paid directly to the victim, and are subject to availability. Decisions regarding awards are subject to a committee. 

    SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT: Sends out an advocate to assist victims of sexual assault and domestic violence navigate the process and to serve as a liaison.

    Languages Available: Has a bilingual victim advocate who works with Hispanic victims and witnesses. Uses a language line for other languages.

    Payment Description: None.

    Intake and Eligibility: Any victim or witness having to appear in court in Baltimore City (the crime must have happened in Baltimore City). The victim or witness cannot have attributed to the injury. Call for Victim's Fund eligibility.
