    DISTANCE LEARNING FAMILY PORTAL:  Website designed to provide tutorials and resources for parents and students to navigate online learning while school buildings are closed to students. Portal can be accessed via WCPS website at wcpsmd.com.
    MEALS: Free meals available to any child 18 years and younger at select locations.
    TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT: Call center is available to assist with technology issues 8am-8pm M-F.
    Wifi: Hotspots are provided at many schools and public locations. See website for more information.

    OVERVIEW: Offers traditional education from kindergarten through high school as well as continuing and special education programs.

    PROGRAMS:

    1) AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS: Contact individual schools for after school programs.

    2) DIVISION OF INSTRUCTION: Provides comprehensive instructional programs for students in pre-k through 12th grade. Operates an Alternative Center and a Technical High School.

    3) SPECIAL EDUCATION: Provides appropriate education for county children from birth to age 21 who have been identified as disabled and in need of specialized programs for part or all of the school day. Assesses and develops a plan for students with any type of cognitive, emotional or physical disability.

    4) SUPPORTING INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES: Provides guidance counseling and psychological services to students with school or social adjustment concerns. Pupil Personnel staff work with students with significant attendance or behavioral problems to develop a plan for improvement.

    5) TECHNICAL SCHOOL: School for juniors and seniors that teaches skills for employment after high school.

    6) FOOD SERVICES: Offers free or reduced fee breakfast and lunch programs to students who qualify. The income guidelines are set by the federal government and have been adopted across the state. A meal benefit application must be completed and returned to the school. You may apply for meal benefits online at www.schoollunchapp.com.
