    OVERVIEW: Provides a variety of housing services.

    SERVICES:
    1) HOMESHARING PROGRAM: Matches home seekers with homeowners. Monthly rent is determined on a case-by-case basis.Home seekers must be single and may have a maximum of one child, must be age 12 or younger. Must be drug and alcohol-free for at least 12 months. Must not have a history of violence  and must have a monthly income of at least $750. Call 410-366-6180, to be screened. If individuals meet the criteria, there is a nominal fee (on a sliding scale) to be interviewed. 

    2) HOMEOWNERSHIP COUNSELING: Helps first-time homebuyers through the home buying process. Includes group workshops and individual counseling sessions.

    3) FORECLOSURE PREVENTION PROGRAM: Provides legal counseling to families facing foreclosure, working with lenders to set up payment plans, and finding other solutions. Also assists homeowners who are victims of home improvement and predatory lending fraud.

    4) RENTAL SERVICES: Manages apartments for low-income families who cannot afford market rents throughout the city and county. This program is not currently accepting applications, but will screen callers for the home-sharing program. 

    5) SENIOR HOUSING: Owns and manages Aigburth Vale, which has units for seniors, ages 62 and older, who are capable of living independently. 212 Aigburth Road, Towson, MD 21204.

    6) LEGAL SERVICES: Provides a walk-in legal clinic that offers free 30 minute consultations on housing and non-housing related legal issues, such as foreclosure prevention, consumer debt, poor credit, mandated benefits as well as other legal matters that may prevent people from securing or remaining in permanent housing.  

    7) HOUSING DEVELOPMENT: Purchases foreclosed homes, rehabilitates them, and sells them to first time homebuyers.

    8) HOPE: Provides free housing to young adults experiencing homelessness ages 18-24 for up to 1 year. Connects participants to case management to help with achieving stability. Individuals can call 410-366-6180 to be screened. Self-referrals are accepted. Prefer individuals to be alcohol and drug free, but may still accept into program. 

    9) HOMELESS YOUNG ADULTS HOMESHARING PROGRAM: Matches young adults 18-24 years old experiencing homelessness with homeowners. Prefer individuals to be drug and alcohol-free, but may still be considered for the program.  Call  410-366-6180, to be screened.  Individuals must be referred by Case Manager, no self-referrals. Will be assigned to a City Navigator to help locate housing resources.
