COMMUNITY EDUCATION: Offers prevention services and educational programs to reduce substance abuse, reduce crime rate, and increase public awareness of safety issues, accident prevention and the role of the police officer.
COMMUNITY SECURITY PROGRAMS: Provides crime prevention services, home/business security surveys, neighborhood watch, which enlists residents to report suspicious occurrences. Call Amber Blackmine at 301-600-2832.
POLICE SERVICE: Ensure the safety and general welfare of the public by preventing and detecting crime, apprehending criminals, enforcing laws, and protecting lives and property.

FINGERPRINTING: Offered Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11AM-5PM on a first come first serve basis. Fingerprinting is done in to ways. One is the standard ink method for $20. The second is a electronic that is typically requested by companies for employees or for gun permit. If being requested by someone other than the person being fingerprinted you must have a an authorization number from requester. Cost is $31.25 plus $20 to total $51.25. Must have Photo ID with current address.
