    COVID-19 Update: Open for contactless pick up and assistance over the phone Mon-Fri, 9AM-6PM.

    LIBRARY: Provides comprehensive library services to residents of Cecil County including loans of books, internet, computer training and reading programs for children.

    -Loaned Materials and Equipment: Videos, books on CD, books on MP3, e-books, downloadable books, new books, books on tape and compact discs. Apply at any library location. All branches have a 24-hour book drop.

    -Databases: Databases of governmental agencies, civic associations, women's clubs, business organizations, retired teacher's associations and other groups are available at all branches.

    -Inter-Library Loan Service: Provides access to books and resources from libraries in Maryland and across the United States.

    -Book Buddy: Volunteers deliver books to home or facility bound book buddy patrons who cannot come to the library due to illness or a disability.

    -Summer Reading Program: Provided at all locations from June 10th-Aug 1 for registered children, pre-school through age 18.

    -Book Discussions Program: A reading discussion program is offered at all CCPL branches for children in grades 6-9 and adults.

    - Meeting Rooms: Provides two meeting rooms at Elkton Central, one meeting room at Cecilton, North East, Perryville, and Rising Sun branches. Reservations must be made in advance.

    -Photocopying: Photocopier located in each branch for public use. The cost is $0.20 per copy. Color options are available at some branches.

    -Computers: Offers Internet access at all branches. Users must sign-up for blocks of time to use the computers, there is no charge to use the computers.

    -Introduction to Computers: Offers a 90 minute course that introduces basic components and operations of a computer and teaches microsoft word programs. There will also be a brief intro on the Library's website. Registration is required.

    -Home Visits: Home delivery of books is available for homebound and child care providers. Call the local branch for more information.

    -Story Circles: Seniors participate in small group discussion and reminiscing with staff. Meets once a week at senior facilities.
