    EARLY HEAD START/ PARENT EDUCATION: Provides a family support center for children and their family which includes school readiness, health education, service linkage in the community, family development, adult education, and special education for children with disabilities.

    -Early Head Start - Ridgely: Assists children and their parents develop the skills they need to be successful in school and life. Early Head Start is a two-generation program designed to provide high-quality child care and family development services to low-income pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers. With center and home-based program, Early Head Start offers a variety of educational and social activities for parents with children ages birth to three.

    -Health Education and Service Linking: Offers prenatal care, limited dental services, breast feeding support, well baby care, dental, substance abuse prevention education and nutrition education. 

    -Adult Education and Employment Readiness: Offers a variety of classes for further education that consists of G.E.D preparation, adult basic education (ABE), English as a Second Language (ESOL), Also provides job readiness, computer skills, math and writing refreshment courses for college entry. 

    -Family Development: Offers parents education, basic life skills, family literacy activities, transportation to and from the center, healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks, and parent/child activities.

    -Parents as Teachers (P.A.T.): Provides a free program serving prenatal through the age of five, it is designed to encourage your child's language development, intellectual growth, social development and motor skills. Parents acquire knowledge and skills to make the most of these crucial, early learning years.

    -Child Development: Provides development screenings and assessments, quality early learning experiences, psycho-social development opportunities, and wrap-around licensed child care.
